Brookvale & Merrifield consists of two well-established dental practices: Brookvale on King Street in Honiton, and Merrifield on Mill Street in Sidmouth. Between us, we care for over 6,000 people across East Devon, many of whom have been with us for years, and now bring their own children (or grandchildren) through our doors.

Meet Tom Mann
Tom Mann is a specialist implant dentist with a Master's degree in Dental Implantology. He focuses on transformative solutions that help patients regain confidence and function, like full mouth restorations. Tom’s expertise in dental implants makes him the go-to dentist in our area for patients seeking life-changing treatment.
You can meet Tom at both our Brookvale and Merrifield practices, where he combines his clinical excellence with a personable, patient-focused approach.
Meet Michael Anaman
Michael Anaman is an experienced periodontist who holds a Master’s degree in Periodontology. As a qualified sedationist, Michael also has extensive experience helping anxious patients overcome their fears and make sure they receive the dental care they need.
Michael provides Invisalign, periodontal treatment, root canal therapy, and general care at our Merrifield practice, combining his clinical expertise with a gentle, understanding approach.
Meet Rachel Patten
Rachel Patten is one of our longest-serving clinicians, having been a trusted presence at Brookvale for nearly 20 years. In that time, she has built lasting relationships with many of the families and individuals who come to us on King Street, and is a well-known face in the Honiton community.
Rachel provides a full range of general dentistry at Brookvale, including root canal therapy, extractions, and restorative care, combining her years of experience with a calm and reassuring approach that puts even the most nervous patients at ease.
